MELAURO. A cheese made of pure cheepmilk with saffron, unique in his kind. You can taste it fresh as well as aged in jugs for 15 weeks, some hundreds of years old procedure. In ancient times though the cheese was wrapped in nutsleaves before it was put in jugs, today we prefer laurel leaves which enriches the cheese with a particular aroma and flavouring.
